Formation and History:
The American Legion Riders of Conway Post 111 were formed in December 2014. Our first Director and Charter member was Brent Davidson.
Requirements for Membership:
Must be a member in good standing (dues paid up) of The Legion, the Sons or the Auxiliary. Must have a motorcycle (2 or 3 wheels) legally registered, insured and licensed (or be a “spouse” of a motorcycle owner).
Monthly Meetings:
Every 3rd Thursday of each month at 6pm at Conway Post 111 2830 Oak St, Conway, SC. Attendance is desired but not mandatory. Events, rides and important information are shared at our meetings. Minutes are taken and sent to each member.
Dues:
$15 annually and are due every January.
Rides and Events:
Conway Riders participate in rides organized by our own leadership and members and join in with other organization’s rides and events. Rides include but are or limited to:
Fun lunch rides (all suggestions considered)
NC Ft. Fisher Ferry also Winery in Elizabethtown, NC
Fund raising events of our own Post as well as other Legion Post
Blessing of the Bikes
State and National Legacy Ride
State Meet n Greet
State Convention/Conference/Winter & Spring meetings
Blue Star Mothers Welcome Home Events at Airport
Participation in some PGR events
Pelicans’ Game bikes on the Field
Fund raising rides out of Jamin Leather
Veterans Last Patrol, visit nursing homes
Ride to Conway Museum for Quilt of Valor ceremonies
Patriotic events/Veterans Day events
Wreaths Across American every December
The Conway Christmas Parade

Turn in application and forms to the Riders' monthly meetings on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6pm or reachout to the Riders Director.
